What Is A Vampire Facial?
The vampire facial gets its name due to the fact that the procedure utilizes PRP (platelet rich plasma) extracted from your blood, in addition to microneedling. PRP is a natural healing agent, containing growth factors that stimulate cell turnover. The powerhouse combination of microneedling followed by PRP yields excellent results, improving skin tone and texture in a variety of ways. You’ll see improvements in:

What Is The Procedure Like?
A vampire facial is relatively painless (anesthetic cream is available) and takes about 45-60 minutes. First, you’ll have a blood draw. This blood will be placed in a centrifuge and spun to separate the platelet rich plasma, which will be applied to the face later in the procedure. To prepare the skin, we will perform microneedling on the treatment area, creating tiny punctures that increase absorption and “trick” the body to begin repairs. Then, the PRP is injected into specific places on the face and/or scalp, targeting your problem areas. It may also be applied topically on the surface of the face.
How Is The Recovery?
After the procedure, your skin will be sensitive and you may experience redness and swelling similar to that of a sunburn. Healing takes about 3-5 days, and during that time you should wear sunscreen and avoid strong skin care products like glycolic acids, retinoids, and alpha hydroxy acids. Once you have healed, you’ll notice a more rejuvenated and youthful appearance over the next few weeks. We recommend 6-8 treatment sessions, 4-6 weeks apart for maximum results.
Am I A Good Candidate For This Procedure?
Generally, vampire facials are considered safe for most people.
